Bug#120424: gnome-apt dies needlessly when starting as non-root
Package: gnome-apt
Version: 0.3.13
Severity: wishlist
Gnome-apt dies when it is started in a non-root x-session. If it
would gracefully allow you to switch to root within the program,
like aptitude, it would stop you needing to go fishing for display
variables.
