Package: apt
Version: 0.5
Severity: unknown

 Hi,
Just thought I would point out a couple of things:
	A. Packages.gz in ~/jgg/apt list a debconf that seems to be unavailable.
	B. apt-get install apt (version 0.5) offers to uninstall an awful lot of
stuff - roughly 180 megs ... seems a little execessive. Looks like this:

1) Debconf no loner depends on apt
2) dist-upgrade is ment to upgrade distributions. APT is a crucial
package, dist-upgrade strives to upgrade it no matter what the cost
3) Running dist-upgrade from a cron script unattended is stupid. Don't do
   that.

Jason
