Bug#88664: apt; apt-get build-dep chokes on package not in Packages
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.0
Severity: normal
(This is in a chroot environment, with a custom Packages file which
doesn't have any mention of libqt2.2-dev whatsoever. But the Sources
file is just the one from unstable.)
root@frobnitz:~# apt-get build-dep qt-x11
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Note, selecting xlibmesa-dev instead of libgl-dev
Sorry, xlibmesa-dev is already the newest version.
Note, selecting zlib1g-dev instead of libz-dev
Sorry, zlib1g-dev is already the newest version.
E: Build-Conflicts dependency on qt-x11 cannot be satisfied because the package libqt2.2-dev cannot be found
root@frobnitz:~# apt-cache showpkg libqt2.2-dev
