Bug#86109: apt: "apt-cache search rsync" eats all my memory
Package: apt
Version: 0.3.19
Severity: normal
As subject really. I tried running
$ apt-cache search rsync
and apt-cache ate all my memory and caused my system to go into heavy
swap thrash mode. Killing it took about five minutes...
(System has 128Mb real + 128Mb swap)
