Actually, I didn't catch that you were using windows. There are kernel
bucs in the smbfs stuff that I dn't know if they have been fixed. AFIAK
everybody who tried this gave up
If you get the 0.4 version of apt from
deb http://klecker.debian.org/~jgg apt/
There is a new function called apt-cdrom idint which may hel you debug
your problem.
