Bug#68025: apt: wish: select which package list to download

Package: apt
Version: 0.3.19
Severity: wishlist

Greetings! :)

I am behind a very poor http proxy. Often, the downloads don't finish.
With the Package Lists, this is very annoying. The packages themselves are
handled quite nicely, thanks for that. :) However, I would like to tell
apt, in some fashion, "Please download the non-us package lists again"
when it fails.

Another possible approach would add a flag to apt, --bloody-insistent or
something, that causes apt to try to download the package files/packages
whatever until it gets them fully.

It would save those of us stuck behind poor proxies a lot of hassle. :)

Thanks! :)
