Bug#55151: gnome-apt: 'Running dpkg' window partially blacked out

Package: gnome-apt
Version: 0.3.6
Severity: normal

When finishing installation/deletion run, or when reaching first interactive
question during installation, lower half of 'Running dpkg' window is
blacked out completely, except first column of the window. Selecting the
blacked area with the mouse (and optionally deselecting it later) gives one
the ability to read the window contents.

Also, lots of debug output in starting xterm window without clearly and
easily specified way of getting rid of it is exceptionally annoying.
Perhaps an explanation of --g[td]k-no-debug flags should be included in
usage statement.
