Bug#50533: The running dpkg window doesn't scroll correctly
Package: gnome-apt
Version: 0.3.6
Severity: normal
After I've select some packages to install/update. The running dpkg window
appears. The text area starts filling with output from the upgrade. When
the text reaches the bottom, it causes the window to scroll up. The new lines
that appear at the bottom have one character, and the rest of the line is
filled with black. As the window continues to scroll the output from dpkg
becomes completely black. I cannot read the message that tells me it is safe
to close the window.
I can get the text to appear in place of the large black square by doing
something that causes the window to refresh (i.e. put another window on top
and the reveal the "running dpkg" window).
