Bug#46266: Apt has problems with apt-get update
Package: apt
Version: 0.3.13
Today, apt is having problems getting the lastest updates. Here is what
happens.
[lyte@linuxhelp lyte]# apt-get update
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main Packages
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main Release
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/contrib Packages
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/contrib Release
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/non-free Packages
Hit ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/non-free Release
Reading Package Lists... Error!
E: Malformed Priority line
E: Error occured while processing aleph-dev (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/state/apt/lists/ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_binary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
And thus nothing can be installed/updated. I'm sure this isn't apt's
problem but I have no idea where else to submit it to.
Cheers,
Joey
