X-Mailer: bug 3.2.2

Package: apt
Version: 0.3.11
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice if there were some way for apt-get -u dist-upgrade
(or whatever) to order the installation intelligently. For example,
when upgrading two packages that have had a file moved from one to the
other, that it would upgrade the packages from which the file was moved,
so as not to get the error about one package trying to overwrite another's
file.
