after a long time I've again exprimentated with APT - and again I have
same problems.
To be more precise - I want to reinstall telnetd-ssl - this apears to be
impossible currently, because there are wrong dependencies on ssleay instead
of on openssl. However openssl should be a replacement for ssleay.
Now I see this message in my log:
The following packages will be REMOVED:
telnetd-ssl
The following NEW packages will be installed:
openssl
I even think, this is serious bug, because when I run unstable system,
there are for some moments, when there are some dependencies wrong and I don't
want to lose half of my system, because of wrong dependence on e.g. libc.
I definitely think that I'm a lord of my machine and when I say it should
be doing that, than I expect it should be that (I don't need another
WindowsOS which thinks its smarter than me), I have not asked APT to
remove this package - so how about some switch before APT consider
to remove some package ? (not even mentioning APT refuses to install
telned-ssl after this silent remove - I don't think that force options
are obsoleted)
