It would be great if I could point apt to ftp.de.kde.org
and do an install/update just the way I do with
ftp.de.debian.org.
Since apt expects to find a directory structure
similar to ftp ftp.de.debian if using the
deb ftp://ftp.de.kde.org ... stable kde
syntax in /etc/apt/sources.list this does not work
with the current layout of ftp.kde.org Even if the
KDE people change their layout, others might not.
I would like to see another type in addition to deb
that takes just a directory where the Packages file resides,
as done in
ftp://ftp.de.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/distribution/deb/binary-i386/
