Bug#35304: apt: It would be nice to be able to wildcard package arguments to apt-get

Package: apt
Version: 0.3.3

It would be nice to be able to specify wildcards in the package name
on the apt-get command line, so that one could do, say,
 apt-get install gtk-engines-\*
to get all the different packaged gtk themes, or
 apt-get remove gnome*
if you decided you were fed up with gnome (this probably wouldn't
actually remove all gnome packages, but it would be a good start).
