Subject: apt package is missing information on ftp.conf
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.3.96.981022131105.4944A-100000@wombat.secmail.com.au>
Package: apt
Version: 0.1.7
X-Debian-CC: david.mcdonald@acm.org
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Package: apt
Version: 0.1.7

Tha man pages for apt make reference to ftp.conf (presumably this file
would be /etc/apt/ftp.conf), however, no example file is provided (in the
way that /etc/apt/sources.list is provided), nor is it documented (in
either /usr/man/man5, as per the apt man pages, or in /usr/doc/apt).

I did a "Search the Contents of the Latest Release" in
http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages but did not find any packages that
supply a "ftp.conf".

I suggest that the priority of this bug is "wishlist".
