Subject: apt-get insists onto sending a SIZE command
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.5

Package: apt
Version: 0.1.5

apt-get insists on having a working SIZE command (to be able to print
estimated size/time I guess). However, the default Solaris ftpd server
doesn't recognize such a command, causing the ftp to fail.

In the configuration file below, rumba.enst.fr is a local Solaris mirror.
apt-get will not work at all.
