Gnome-apt and apt 0.3.1

The gnome 1.0 libs are now available and this means that I will
release an new version of gnome-apt this weekend.

Is there a chance of being able to depend on an apt 0.3.1?
Some versions of apt 0.3.0 floating around out there do _not_ work
with gnome-apt.

If there is a time constraint, would it be okay for me to make
an apt 0.3.0-0.1 deb from cvs and depend on it (or higher)?
