Bug#30441: Listing version of package being downloaded from within dselect/apt

Package: apt
Version: 0.1.9
Severity: wishlist

When using dselect to download new packages with the apt method, we get
output like this:

Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main locales [1522k]
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main findutils [109k]
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main kbd-data [490k]
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main libc6 [585k]
9% [libc6 342432/585k 58%] 2900b/s 3h10m1s

What about something like this?

Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main locales [1522k] <version>
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main findutils [109k] <version>
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main kbd-data [490k] <version>
Get ftp://ftp.debian.org unstable/main libc6 [585k] <version>
9% [libc6 342432/585k 58%] <version> 2900b/s 3h10m1s

There are times when during such a transfer I'd like to know what version
of the package I'm downloading.

Thanks for apt. It's a great package.
