since the Packages files genearlly change very little, it would be
nice if they could be accessed via the rsync protocol, ie something
like rsync ... ftp1.us.debian.org::DEBIAN/dists/.../Packages.  This
would be especially convenient for low-bandwith or expensive
connections.
