Anyhow, your problem is that you have an icorrect line in sources.list, it should read deb http://../debian dists/stable-updates/ This will allow you to download all the i386 packages listsed in the packages file. The trouble is that the package file is not correctly built and only has 1 listing for each duplicated package so you may find that some things are not installable. Jason
