individual slink parts in hamm dist.

i want to have a stable hamm distribution. but on
the other side i want SOME packages to be bleeding edge.
(g++ in my case,
quake2 for others,
ggi for others,
apt for all !!!,
xwpe for my girl friend
etc etc etc)

i do not want to upgrade to slink, i want a stable system.
i do not want to install the slink packages with dpkg -i, because
then they will not be updated if there are updates available.

not even apt updates itself :-) (because it is not in hamm)

after discussing this thing on IRC, i think that there is still
no way to do this. is such a feature planned ?

i think it would be extremly useful.

sincerly
Erik

PS: apt is great !
