Package: gtk3-engines-xfce
Version: 3.0.1-2
Severity: normal

the Xfce-basic theme, when configured in gtk3 3.14, produces a black
editor window with light gray buttons and white texts -- overall
probably not the intended look and barely usable when it comes to
reading buttons without hovering them.

other themes are less affected (eg -cadmium, -dusk and others show
uniformly colored gray rectangles under texts on buttons with
gradients).

steps to reproduce:

* blank user
* create ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini:
  [Settings]
  gtk-theme-name = * Xfce-basic
* launch gedit
