[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#858445: apparent freeze when exiting text session on second vt while X is running on first vt

Package: light-locker
Version: 1.7.0-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have installed Xfce which includes light-locker. When Xfce blanks the
screen automatically after the configured timespan or if I lock the screen
manually, the screen goes blank and pressing any keys or moving the mouse
will not show anything.

I can, however, switch to another VT with Ctrl+Alt+F2 and kill the Xorg
process from there.

This happens when I use text console logins and use "startx" to start Xorg.

On the other hand, if I switch the system to graphical login, then locking
the screen brings me back to the login screen, and after logging in again,
I am back at my original session. This might be the intended behaviour.
