[Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#736964: [lightdm] Password is shown in cleart text while typing

Package: lightdm
Version: 1.8.6-1
Severity: grave

Hi,

after upgrade to this version i try to check, if the autologin timeout
is working by now. While it is not working yet, i need to type the
password and i see, that the login dialog shows my password while
typing in clear text. No asterisks, no bullets, only clear text.

This is a problem, because it allows another people to see my password
while typing, until i press enter (to login).

regards
