As this can be changed in the xfce menu, I think it is just a setting of
xfce. Changing it in the menu changes for me the property
SynPS2_Synaptics_Touchpad->Properties->Synaptics_Tap_Action
from
[0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
to:
[0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 3, 2]
Is this a xfce setting?
