It looks like this behavior depends on the display manager you use. I tried to reproduce the issue on a couple of co-workers computers (one sid, one *buntu) and it didn't work. I switched my display manager from gdm3 to kdm, and I can no longer enable slow keys by holding down shift. Should this be a bug with gdm/gconf? -- Eldon Koyle -- 1 + 1 = 3, for large values of 1.
