Bug#530920: xserver-xorg-input-mouse: At least in XFCE mouse is generating extra clicks

Using xfce 4.6.1 (in case that matters), extra mouse clicks are being generated.
Clicking on icons on the panel results in two programs being launched, selecting
items in selection lists results the item being immediate deselected again, etc

I am using a dual head display with the attached xorg.conf
