There are several known bugs since it's still 1.4-rc0, for instance it
crashes while leaving startx here...

Since the ati driver is now randr-1.2 aware, you might have to update to
xorg.conf accordingly. See http://bgoglin.livejournal.com/10214.html and

All drivers are not re-compiled yet, but they will be soon.

Xserver 1.4 is officially released, entered unstable and everything
