There are plans to release a sort of "etch-and-a-half" in several months
time. This should include updates for both the kernel and intel driver.
While we're not planning to have DRI working for this scheme, you should be
able to run 2d graphics at a normal speed. In the meanwhile, you'll need to
use the vesa driver though.
