Bug#436336: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Switching to text VC crashes X, induces black screen, unrestorable display

A new behavior, I believe with the 2.1.0 driver, is that a switch away
from X with Ctrl-Alt-F2 or similar results in a black screen.  Only by a
post-mortem inspection of the Xorg.0.log was I able to see that the X
Server had crashed.

This behavior is repeatable.
