Could you catch a debugging backtrace with gdb? Installing
xserver-xorg-core-dbg, attaching gdb through ssh with 'gdb -p $(pidof
X)', reproducing the crash, and entering 'bt full' in gdb should do the
trick.

I tried to get some details about the problem reported there and how it
is fixed but I didn't find anything...

Yes, looks different.

By the way, it would be nice to not gzip/bzip your log files, it makes
our work easier.
