unresolved symbol in mga_drv.o crashes xserver

Hi
I upgraded xserver-xorg to 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4. It was impossible to start X. I got on the console "mga_drv.so: undefined symbol: MGAGetBOARDHANDLESize"
I've found that :

I deleted mga_hal and I can start X now.
My hardware : Matrox G550
