I have a very similiar setup , I 've just setup up the last of three desktops here with dual-head on a Radeon 9550 and hit exactly the problem , luckily the deb was in the local cache of one of my other machines. Im not entirely sure though why the bug which seems to have been reported by others didn't block the transistion into testing, but that part of debian is a bit of a black box to me. TTFN -- Roger.
