The changelog in trunk is. There is no merge yet in branch for -8.

No. I will. I got full access to the net again only a few days ago (reason
for the delay).

Yes this is correct. We are already late but our real-life has priority,
sometimes higher than X or Debian. I expect to review the work that has
been done on trunk during this evening.
