Hi,

all these problems with compound text conversion appear because
the locale is not supported by X.  In this specific case,
en_GB.iso885915 and en_GB.ISO8859-15 are valid, so I do not know
whether en_GB.iso8859-15 should be added or not.
Another merged bugreport was about en_GB.ISO-8859-1, which is
supported now.
