Any idea what? no. I'm puzzled. It's not a feature I use every day, so I simply overlooked it. Before (recalling based on my changelog) patch #122, I'd overridden part of the behavior of reverse video to make it set by the terminal's control sequences. At that patch, I made a change to save the original resource value as a reference (so I'm pretty sure I tested it on something). I was probably testing it on the 3.3.6 branch - it took me a while to get a usable 4.x configuration file. I see some indication in the code (will have to test/see) that it might have changed the way the widget is initialized. I can verify that by making a debug-version on a "good" system. -- Thomas E.
