Could you please check the log message of this commit? David Dawes has
now taken to asserting licenses in CVS commit messages, and making
people 'assume' that anything from him is licensed under the new, bad,
license.

Moral of the story: it's  not worth taking stuff from XFree86
unless it's contributed by someone external.
