Package: wiki.debian.org
Severity: normal
A page I recently created does not appear in any search results.
To reproduce:
a) Brouse to http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/Lenny
to verify it still exists.
b) Search for the title and for content of the page and try some search macros.
The page http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/lenny
(note lowercase l) does show on searches.----------------^
So does http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/Lenny?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=photo.png.
Which sugests a problem with one word titles beginning with uppercase.
Similar (yet different) bugs appear upstream:
* http://moinmo.in/MoinMoinBugs/RegexSearchMissesPagesWhichStartWithLowerCaseLetter
* http://moinmo.in/MoinMoinBugs/TitleSearchDoesNotWorkWhenPageNameIsLowerCaseCharactersOneWord
These point towards setting 'xapian_stemming = False' but actually exhibit an opposite behaviour.

Was able to confirm this bug no longer exists using submitter's test
cases.
Further research showed original issue had been a result of
xapian_stemming bug in python-moinmoin < 1.7.0.
The python-moinmoin changelog for version 1.7.0 (Jun 2010) indicates
Xapian search refactoring and bug fixes.
Unaware of current wiki.d.o python-moinmoin production version (1.9.9-1
in stable), but this bug is no longer present.
Thanks!
