Yes, the DSA has decided to take down the service due to issues in glinka (although not necessarily attributed to the man.cgi script)

I've not had time yet to check what happened and fix it.

PS: BTW, you should  'ping' manpages.debian.org (the server name) not the URL (you added https:// to the ping command, that is why it does not work)
