Hi there! * Christian Heidemann <CHeidemann@carcoustics.com> [2004-02-09 10:23]: > Last week I saw that the following URL enty in Google . > When i search for "Carcoustics" at Google , i can find my request to you. Well, it was never a secret that the Debian lists are archived. In fact, this very mail was also archived: <http://lists.debian.org/debian-www/2004/debian-www-200402/msg00067.html> Please read our lists disclaimer about it: <http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/#disclaimer> <http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/disclaimer> > Our head of marketing does not accept this. Well, it was your very own fault when sending mails to lists that are not accepted by your head of marketing, not ours. It is very unfortunate for you that you didn't comply with your company laws and you have my true symapthy; but again, it isn't our fault. > Hereby I request you, to delete this link from Google and other > search-engines. We don't do such things, sorry. See the disclaimer above. The lists are archived for others to learn from the problems other had and can find the answers there. Removing your mail from the archive would render the answers to your mail unhelpful in some way, and there is no thing that would make us remove the answers with your mail, too. So long, Alfie -- Real men don't take backups. They put their source on a public FTP-server and let the world mirror it. -- Linus Torvalds
