Debian and Debian Women in OLS

Hi people,

A while ago I received some good news: the
opportunity to travel to Ottawa and attend OLS. Considering
that a lot of people will attend DebConf and that I'm not
going to HEL, I decide to subscribe a BoFS (Birds of Feather
Session or an "Informal Meeting") for Debian Women, at that
time a spoke very briefly with Erinn.

Since then, I work to get my VISA (which is ok now).
In this meanwhile I spoke with Fernanda Weiden which is also
going to attend OLS, she gave me some tips for the
presentation and we are going to present and organize the
BoFS together. :o)

The OLS [1]schedule id published, not yet finished,
but until now we are going to present Friday July 22nd, 2005
19h 00min in Room D. In the last couple of weeks I was
thinking in expand it to talk about D-W and also talk about
Debian.

D-W list and channel are good places for constructive
discussions, a nice place for newcomers and we have a nice
tutorial/mentor model established. I would like to expand
that to the meeting. :)

My idea is talk about D-W (how it began, what we are
doing and how we are working), ask people (specially girls)
to join us, and talk a little bit about Debian (introduction,
invite people to collaborate). I'm also planning to add some
of women victories that were reported on d-w maillist.

Anyway, I would like to hear from you what do you
think about it, ideas/suggestions/critics are welcome. :)

	Kind regards,
