| hey ladies. are any of you messing with ipv6 yet? i am trying to get it
| to work. when i do ifconfig i get an ipv6 address, as well as my standard
| ipv4 address. i have a tunnel broker.
| two questions: is the ipv6 number that pops up when i do ifconfig my
| actual number?
you might want to ask this directly to the debian-ipv6 mailing list but:
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:08:74:A1:F6:1C
~ inet addr:192.168.1.6 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
~ inet6 addr: 3ffe:100:e:3::6/64 Scope:Global
~ inet6 addr: fe80::208:74ff:fea1:f61c/64 Scope:Link
the 3ffe or 2001 addresses are routed over the global inet. the fe80 instead
is the link local address.
The last available dish of the food you have decided to eat, will be
inevitably taken from the person in front of you.
