* Package name    : maple-package
  Version         : 0.0.1
  Upstream Author : Jerome Benoit <calculus@rezozer.net>
* License         : GPL-2+
  Programming Lang: bash, make
  Description : utility for creating Maple Debian packages

Maple is a commercial Computer Algebra System (CAS) manufactured by the
Canadian software company MapleSoft, a division of Waterloo Maple Inc..

This package will be meant to provide the capability to build Debian
packages from the install material distributed by Maple by running a
dedicated bash script that will mainly invoke a Makefile through the
dh(1) tools. The aim of the game is to gain a (far) more comfortable
integration of Maple into Debian systems.

This package itself will be a native Debian package (Section: contrib/misc)
governed by GPL-2+, but the Maple software will have to be purchased by
the final user and will obviously remain governed by the copyright holder
(MapleSoft, namely Waterloo Maple Inc.). This package will simply help
the final user to create her/his/its own Maple packages and it will be
her/his/its responsability to use the resulting package responsibly.
