Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Alexandre Detiste <tchet@debian.org> X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org * Package name : python-asammdf Version : 7.4.2 Upstream Contact: daniel.hrisca@gmail.com * URL : https://github.com/danielhrisca/asammdf * License : GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 Programming Lang: Python Description : GUI application used to analyse engine CAN logs Hi, So I plan to package this, I guess it will take a while because I dind't even managed to install it manually in a quick first attempt without breaking my desktop. I looks nifty https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5CBdfpBWzE The main binary package will be named "asammdf", the end-users doen't need to know it's coded in Python. By default/inertia this would be packaged under DebianPythonTeam; but I wonder if it would better to have an Automotive packaging team; which would also include python-canmatrix (under RFA 1014519) and other dependencies of asammdf which might not be in Python. tram & trains would be welcome too (I see for example the ITP 1053497 for tcnopen). I see this wiki page from 2012 but I don't know wether it materialized in packages: https://wiki.debian.org/Automotive -- When I get the bug ITP, I'll set the according blocks on 1062800 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1062800 > Maintainers who know the Qt stack and understand > the details of how pyside works are desperately needed. Agree'd I'll have a look at this after my Holliday. Greetings
