Package: wnpp Owner: Ying-Chun Liu (PaulLiu) <paulliu@deian.org> Severity: wishlist * Package name : sabre Version : 0.2.4b Upstream Author : Dan Hammer * URL : http://sabre.cobite.com/ * License : GPLv1+ Programming Lang: C Description : fighter plane simulator SABRE is an on-going game development for the Linux Operating System, worked on as a labor of love by flight-simulation enthusiasts. . For now, SABRE is focusing on the older jets and piston-engined fighters of the Korean War / Cold War era. Featured are F-86 SabreJet, MiG-15, F-84 ThunderJet, F-51 Mustang, and Yak-9. All of the planes in the game can be flown by the player as well as the computer pilots. I'm going to re-sent this package back to Debian because I like to play this game. However I'm too late to pick this bug up. http://bugs.debian.org/544918 So it has been removed already.Attachment: signature.asc

The sabre package was already in Debian and was removed in 2010 due to a dead upstream. I don't think it makes sense to reintroduce this game again.Especially as the software is no longer available at the mentioned URL ... Thorsten
