Unfortunately upstream seems to be rather dead. According to the website of credis, it supports Redis only up to version 2.0.2, whereas Debian already has version 5.0 in oldoldstable. There are other implementations of a redis client, that are also called credis. If any other is of interest, please file a new RFP with updated information.Thorsten
