why is the package useful/relevant?

Since the package 'gnome-shell-extension-vertical-overview' is not found
in Trixie, V-Shell would offer a great replacement with many extra
features.
V-Shell is partially based on the code of the vertical overwiev
extension.
It supports the planned GNOME shell version in Trixie (47/48).
