Description : Set of tools to gather troubleshooting data from a system
I am currently maintaining the package sosreport and one of the upstream
maintainers, and this is a rename of this project to sos.
The project was renamed upstream a while back as the report functionality is now
a sub command and sos has now multiple components, namely report, clean, collect
and soon a new one called upload. On this basis it doesn't make sense anymore
for the package to be called sosreport. RPM based distros changed a while back,
and this is to follow upstream and the community.
The plan is to upload a transitional package sosreport that will allow smooth
upgrades, and in the future to maintain the package as sos.
The current package status is in Salsa https://salsa.debian.org/arif-ali/sosreport
