Bug#1095472: O: foomuuri -- multizone bidirectional nftables firewall
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: foomuuri@packages.debian.org
Control: affects -1 + src:foomuuri
I intend to orphan the foomuuri package. It's a new-ish project,
introduced in Debian in 2023, that is the spiritual successor to
Shorewall. It's a Python script which can generate arbitrarily complex
zone-based Nftables configurations, with many convenient features to
manage firewalls.
It can be a good starter package for beginning maintainers.

The package description is:
Foomuuri is a firewall generator for nftables based on the concept
of zones. It is suitable for all systems from personal machines to
corporate firewalls, and supports advanced features such as a rich
rule language, IPv4/IPv6 rule splitting, dynamic DNS lookups, a
D-Bus API and firewalld emulation for NetworkManager's zone
support.
