Biopython is a collection of freely available tools for biological computation, particularly for working with biological sequences and data. It provides modules for bioinformatics tasks, including DNA/RNA sequence analysis, population genetics, and machine learning applications in genomics. This package would be valuable for Debian users in the bioinformatics and life sciences fields.

Dear Debian Team, I am writing to submit an Intent to Package (ITP) for Biopython, a suite of Python tools for biological computation.
