I intend to package Shynet for Debian because it offers a modern, privacy-respecting alternative to commercial analytics tools.
Its self-hosted nature ensures that user data is retained securely and is not shared with third parties, making it ideal for organizations with privacy concerns. Shynet aligns with the growing demand for privacy-focused tools in the web development community.
This package is not currently available in the Debian repositories. Adding it will provide Debian users with a powerful, ethical choice for website analytics.
